Welcome to Quick Steps to Health

Judy and Tim

The Healthy Elders

Hi, my name is Judy Kelly, and my husband is Tim. Our purpose for this website is to pass on to you information that we have learned over the years related to good health practices. We are mostly focused on preventative health care and alternative forms of treatment. As we learn new trends or accepted practices, we will pass them on to you in the form of blog posts that you can find listed by topic or by using the search box on the Home page.

It is our intention to give you access to many little tips that you can implement in small steps, and over time make a significant impact on your overall health and wellness.

Optimum health comes in many forms. We will discuss the health of our bodies, but there is also mental health, relationship health, and financial health. These are all tied together when we evaluate our overall health and well-being.

We hope you will visit our blog often. You may also wish to sign up for our weekly newsletter that contains more helpful ideas and simple reminders that you can start implementing immediately in your day-to-day life.

We will also be giving you recommendations for products and services that we have found, and believe to be most valuable for progressing on your way to Optimum Health and Wellness. Please feel free to give us your feedback on anything you find here.

Our Mountain

Our Mountain

Tim and I live in the beautiful San Juan mountains of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, at 9000 ft.  We love snowmobiling in and out of the national forrest during the winter and the warm summer sunshine with bountiful wildflowers.

We moved to Colorado after our retirement in 2004 and we have not looked back since at the hectic life we used to have.

I love people, and I absolutely love working on the internet sharing my knowledge with you and my other readers.

Not only will I be sharing my knowledge of health and wellness, but I will also be sharing my knowledge of internet marketing.

My passion for health started early, but it really geared up in the 1970’s when my son was diagnosed as having ADD/ADHD and dyslexia, disorders that were not as well known back then as they are today.

Tim, my wonderful husband, is always busy around the house, which includes taking care of our water system (he was a geohydrologist professionally), cutting, splitting, and stacking wood for fuel, maintaining the landscape, and general maintainance. Tim also loves to cook, and he is quite active in taking care of the small community we live in, The Lost Valley of the San Juans.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you learn something valuable while you are here!
