Hemorrhoid Home Remedies

Are you suffering?

Almost one third of the population of the USA currently has, or have had in the past, hemorrhoids. This common issue is caused by poor diet, constipation, a sedentary lifestyle, and other health issues. Hemorrhoids usually develop from damaged blood vessels and membranes in the anal canal or rectum, and can be extremely painful or itchy. While they usually go away on their own if given time to heal, they can be very bothersome while healing. Using a hemorrhoid home remedy can help a person suffering with hemorrhoids feel more comfortable, and can help them heal faster.

Bleeding Internal hemorrhoids occure mostly in the population in the age groups between 45 and 65. If you are required to sit for long stretches of time, stand for long stretches of time. This can hasten the onset of bleeding internal hemorrhoids. Women who are pregnant sometimes develop these hemorrhoids.

In looking for a way to stop hemorrhoids pain you should try and ascertain the reason for the problem in the first place. A big cause of hemorrhoids is constipation. If you are having trouble eliminating your stools, and are straining to do so, that could be the reason for the hemorrhoid episode. There are many effective natural cures for constipation. One of the easiest and most effective natural laxatives is apple cider vinegar. Drink a cupful of warm water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in it when you notice you are having trouble, and before you now it you will get relief. The swelling will go down when you are no longer straining and the hemorrhoids pain will go away.

A natural remedy for hemorrhoids is the inclusion of more fiber in the diet. It both prevents and cures the problem of hemorrhoids. Types of food that are high in fiber include grain products, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. These can be food items such as whole grain breads, dried peas and beans, almonds, avocado, and berries.

Increasing your daily fiber intake is another solution and treatment of hemorrhoid. The average American only eats ten grams of fiber a day. By increasing your fiber intake by fifteen to forty grams you will regulate your digestive system and prevent hemorrhoids from forming. The many ways you can increase your intake is by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and grains and cereals. Make sure you increase your fluid intake as well. The best fluid, of course, is water.  It is needed to break down the fiber so it can clean the intestines and be eliminated easily.

The last option for relief of the pain and discomfort that hemorrhoids causes is to consume pre-biotics, pro-biotics, and fiber tablets.    Another method can be found at the Hemorrhoid Cure.
