This was a very interesting article for me because I suffer with sleep problems. I remember learning about the stages of sleep in college and how important REM is but I can't seem to get my brain to "turn off" so that I can reach that deeper level. If I am lucky enough, from mere exhaustion, to reach REM it doesn't last long and I awake just as tired as when I went to bed. Is there something natural that can help me reach and remain in REM for a more appropriate length of time?
